My name is Ian Mathew, I am a Senior at Frisco High School, and this is my second year of being a part of the ISM Program. Ever since I was young, I have always had a passion for aerospace engineering in particular Spaceflight. I remember fondly that I would scroll Wikipedia and YouTube looking up rockets and mission plans to Mars. Now these days I spend my time learning more about the field via LinkedIn, Aviation news sources and of course via ISM.

Mission Statement
Through this independent study, I plan to expand upon my knowledge of aerospace engineering to learn more about the field of Space Exploration. Under the guidance of a mentor and by conducting more research, I will challenge myself by learning and reenforcing skills critical to both ISM but also for the workplace. Demonstrating Knowledge, Curiosity, Ingenuity and Perseverance, I intend to capitalize on the opportunities of the ISM program while also delivering a Final Product.
