ISM Blog 13- Two Big Checks

It is the final entry of 2021, and it has been an enjoyable journey so far. I finally completed the original work and I learned about how hard it is to have a mission ready to go as more importantly how easy it is to miss targets and deadlines as well as the ease of slipups. I feel like if my original work was implemented at NASA then I would be fired immediately and my Project Scrapped by the next administration I also got a mentor; He was the 2nd person I interviewed, and he was my first-choice mentor. Some of the things about having him as a mentor is that He will be a virtual mentor and I can only meet him once a month. As a result, I am in the process of Having another mentor, this time an in-person mentorship with Jeff Trang, Vice President, Engineering & Flight Operations at Airbus Helicopters North America. He was my 2nd Choice Mentor, and he was a cool person to meet with. As a result, I will hopefully have two mentors, both in slightly different fields! Finally, I am considering what I should do for final product as I don’t want to do another mission as my mentors are both in aeronautics and not astronautics.
