First days are always light in school. Teachers talk about their course and then we do some team building yet that team building does not stick. ISM however has already taught me a skill in remembering people's names. On the First day of school a kid knew my name but I did not know his. I know that I am not some popular kid but it made me feel bad about my response. Of course the First day went by quickly and so came the Second day with ISM and learning this skill of remembering people's name hit me harder than most first day messages and I learned about many of my peers and that I have had some of them back in Middle school. Now I was looking forward to the 2nd day of ISM on Tuesday but My Mom fell ill and on Saturday Me and My Dad also fell ill and on Tuesday the 2nd day of ISM I was confirmed positive for COVID-19. Luckily I was spared from the near death experiences that I had heard about but there was another more looming threat ahead, School! In most Classes the 1st day is all fun and games, the 2nd day is the Syllabus day and the 3rd day is when the Work starts. As a result I missed out on an entire Unit for two of my classes and a good chunk of the “unit one” for the others. While I was at home I had a constant Mild grade fever which made it impossible to do work in the beginning but as week two eased in I was able to begin to work on some of my school work.
